Crowing Responsibly

Commuting to the south every morning

early, about thirty or so crows beat their way

spread out through the rush of freezing

winter skies, and go to work in the fields, or trees, or

on the roads or in the garbage business

every evening, commuting back through exhausting

winter conditions, they head north to snuggle safely
